"I was supposed to move in on a Monday, but I was informed the unit was under maintenance when I arrived and would not be ready until Wednesday morning. I was put in a temporary unit during this time. The original unit was still not ready by Wednesday afternoon! It was missing a fridge/freezer and oven/stove, there was black mold in all of the kitchen caulking/grout, all of the ceilings were stained, the W/D closet door didn't work, and the front door needed replacement. I was able to break the lease, but had to put up a fight to do so. Something else worth noting: this community is not in Park Circle. It's in a dangerous part of North Charleston 2 miles south of Park Circle. As other comments have mentioned, the 5 star reviews you might see here are all fake. Friedlam Partners (the company that "manages" the Icon) is a scam ring that traps low-income citizens in contracts for old, dirty, and unsafe housing. The photos on their website are extremely misleading, and staff is completely unhelpful. Do not apply here."

"Please beware of this place, the staff are denying people and profiting off the $50.00 application fee (because it’s non-refundable). Staff is lazy, careless and seem to be participating is suspicious behavior. I will be complaining to the BBB with the hopes that this company improves their ethics."

"I am the vendor that services the golf cart fleet at Icon @ Park Circle apartments. Since the complex is under new management, everything has improved. the manger,is great to work with and they have clean the entire apartment complex up and the maintenance staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a pleasure to work with manager and the maintenance department. The front office is very friendly and helpful when I come over. I am looking forward to a long and lasting relationship. "Looking for an apartment for an elderly relative, I recently toured this property, and was very impressed! The grounds were clean and well-maintained. The property manager, Lizz, is exceptional. She readily answered all of my questions, and was very pleasant. She seems to be very knowledgeable about the property. ICON @Park Circle is the Real Deal and the staff is Amazing!!"
