"DO NOT MOVE HERE. This complex deceives any new tenant before moving in. I have several friends and family members that have lived here and dealt with multiple issues: Maintenance requests being ignored or “fixed” only for the issue to go unresolved completely. MOLD. Several of these apartments have black mold on window sills, doors, and other areas. They'll pass it off as “Every apartment has this.” as if it is not a health hazard. Multiple apartments were flooded with sewage water and the complex only removed carpeting and supplied fans, but did nothing to clean the HAZARDOUS WASTE. I know several tenants who have moved out with their apartments in good conditions and have not received their security deposit or a reason as to why, even after months and YEARS. FYI: landlords have 30 DAYS to issue your deposit back to you or inform you as to why they haven't. They also will present you with lease renewals within a short amount of time (maybe a month), leaving you with little to no options and forcing you to pay their price increase which goes up every time. People have lived here for years and moved out because rent has shot up. Ex: $900-1500 within 2 years. The price increase is absurd since I have personally witnessed this complex get worse regardless of how much they charge their tenants. Friends of mine lost everything in the fire that burnt down two whole buildings (probably due to the fact that these apartments are out of date and haven't been properly renovated) they were moved into a bigger apartment because it was the only thing available, then they wanted to charge them the price increase for living there. I would encourage members of this community to band together and file a class action lawsuit because there are more than enough violations to do so. People should not be taken advantage of the way this complex seems to do year after year."
"Toured this community with Halee and even though I’m not looking to move until summer 2024, her attentiveness and communication has been amazing. She keeps me up to date with current photos, availability and any community events! Even if I call when she’s busy or not in the office, she always returns my calls same day. Out of all the apartments I’ve toured, this one was definitely the BEST (especially for the price). I can’t wait to move into Summerville Station later this year!"
"Lived there for 3 years, was an amazing tenant - moved out of state & now nobody will contact me back about getting my deposit back. They’ve done this to EVERY SINGLE tenant & they think just cause I moved out of state, they can get away with it. I demand a call back, you have over 10 messages from me from the last 6 months! I don’t deserve to be treated this way at all!!!! It’s not fair.."
"I visit Summerville Station twice a week to service the pool and I have nothing but positive things to say about the office staff, especially Halee. She’s always greeting everyone with a smile and warm embrace that makes them feel welcome. She’s quick to answer any questions and address any concerns. She creates a great environment for everyone that walks through the door. Keep up the good work Halee, and thanks for the hot chocolate!"
"While this is a beautiful place to live and I have wonderful neighbors for the most part, the actions of management as of late is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. It’s very difficult to get phone calls through. I know people be in the office but I guess answering the phones is not a priority. When one of the managers was nice enough to let us contact her for issues she got reprimanded instead of congratulated for making our needs a priority. As a resident you practically have to physically go into the office, but even then it’s like no one has time to address your concerns and maintenance issues. You go in the office to put a work order in and is told to put a work request ONLINE…….heaven knows how long it’ll be before your needs are addressed. Their priority is working on unoccupied apartments first when the occupied ones are last on the list. And please don’t go in the office to try to follow up…..it’s like you’re bothering them just to get things done. For the price that is being paid for the rent it’s no excuse that you have to constantly run people down just to get things fixed. What makes matters worse is that one of my neighbors called my husband the n word and was very aggressive towards him. I made TWO reports to the office but no one has taken the time to reach out to me or him to make an apology or put any action plans in place in order to make me feel safe and ensure that this doesn’t happen again. It makes me feel like the actions of the neighbor was condoned. When I first moved here management was very attentive and I must say that Halee and Dejohn was on their game but now I don’t know who management is now. They have not taken the time to introduce themselves to the residents nor made anyone feel welcome to set foot in the office or made anyone feel like it’s okay to get things fixed in a timely manner. It’s sad to me that no one has time or consideration for anything anymore. Maybe it’s because they don’t live here so they don’t care how we live as long as the rent is paid on time. I pray something changes soon because I love living here, I just want management that truly cares about the people that makes up the community."
