Sawbranch Apartments 1815 Bacons Bridge Road, Summerville, SC 29485

"Was a long term resident of sawbranch and moved out of the area, so when it was time to come back to the area I decided on sawbranch because always had good experiences with them…..key word is “had” in the past. The lady in the office handed me the key and I went to inspect the apartment and first thing I smelled was the strong smell of pot from the downstairs units and then trash all over the breezeways, go into the apartment first thing I see is paint all over the “wood” flooring in the kitchen that’s basically laminate flooring and the stove had burn marks on the burners that smoked when turning them on. My next stop was the bathroom and the shower had a hole in the ceiling and paint marks on everything, the master bedroom had dead roaches on the floor then the front bedroom had exposed electrical outlet which is a safety hazard, so I went back to the office and told the assistant manager and she said well I have to call the property manager, my next question was…. “ don’t you inspect the apartments before someone moves in” Her response was “ no we don’t that’s what the move in list is for” I get a phone call from the manager and she said they will have someone come look At the items before I move in but nobody’s ever said anything about people smoking pot and they can’t tell residents what they can and can’t do and if they want to smoke that is allowed. I decided to give them some time to fix it and looked for another option and found a new complex for basically the same price and is 1,000 times better so walked away from sawbranch, oh btw the ad saying we have new kitchens they where new back in 2015….. Glad I didn’t sign the lease I was out the 250.00 holding fee but it was a small price to pay."

"Well with the new management team they got unreal and when you put a order in it take like 2 weeks to come and fixed it and got tried of it and fixed it myself and with the rent keeping going up and not fixed nothing why paying rent here and now this ain't no good place to live at and people moved out left and right ...."

"I love living here! The apartments are a great size and updated nicely. Everything is in working order and if not, the maintenance guy Michael is so quick at getting it fixed! All of my neighbors are great and always say hello. Robin in the office is one of the main reasons why I initially moved in here. She was so genuine when I came to look around, and she always has a smile for you when you walk in the office!"

"This is a great place to be! The staff here is super diligent and helpful. Everyone here is friendly and the atmosphere is that of a small village. Everybody knows everybody. All the children play together it's awesome! The environment feels like home. I'd recommend it to anyone."

"I love living here. The rooms are a decent size, the staff is super friendly, and the price is good. They listened to their residents and updated the pool, put a nice fitness center on the grounds (with complimentary wifi), fixed a few hammocks, and I haven't had any problems with the neighborhood behind us. They also have a nice tennis court, a grill for residents to use, a nice area to walk your dogs and have picnics, and they send out monthly updates and calendars. My only complaint is that water isn't included in the price. But that's easy to get over considering all the benefits of living here."
