"There’s better places to live in the boro. Most of the time the advertised amenities are closed or aren’t accessible to residents even during the advertised hours. Security protocols have caused a 30 plus minute waiting period to even make it to the box at the gate. Not to mention one particular officers is very rude and disrespectful towards residents. This is an apartment complex not a jail. Also the parking situation will result in your vehicle getting hit and dinged by others no matter how center you are in the parking space. Please live somewhere else or just know you’re signing up to deal with shenanigans from management in terms of not communicating. They never answer the phones or even callback. Per management and their enforcement security you’re not allowed to be outside after 10pm unless you’re going to your car and leaving or walking your dog. The WiFi goes out atleast 4 or more times a week. Don’t be fooled by their marketing this place is a 0/10 would not recommend. Be safe and live elsewhere"

"I think one eleven is a great place to stay. It’s really close to campus and that’s what I love about it. You have your own bathroom and a walk in closet! The price is nice and everything such as utilities comes in included. Now in the beginning it was rough but one eleven took charge and we have on site security! My first experience has not been bad and I truly like it here !"

"You can find cheaper better places to live in statesboro. Avoid this place!!!! The worst management I have ever experienced. Moved In to the most disgusting apartment ever. Move in packet claimed all carpet had been professionally cleaned, they had not been. We found bullets in the carpet. Genuinely don’t understand how management was okay with people moving into that filth. We had to deep clean for 6 hours. Management sent a cleaner who wiped our counters and moped the floors. There has been 3 shootings here in the last month, one resulting in a death. I don’t feel safe here even with the “security”. Management will lie straight to your face. Called for maintenance due to water heater being out and the front office told us they would send someone out. They didn’t. I had to call for 5 days straight to get someone to fix the hot water. Can’t use the vanity in my bathroom due to the drawers all being broken. Maintenance refuses to fix. This place is poorly maintained and managed. Don’t fall for the tour!"

"decent, could use some changes pros: it's super close to school, so it's easy to walk or bike! there's a pool and a gym, plus ping pong and pool tables. there's also printers you can use in the office and TVs in every common area. rooms themselves are in decent condition, not perfect but not terrible either. make sure to take pictures of any damages you find when you move in, so you can prove that they were there before you were. furnished with two sets of drawers, a bed, a desk, and a chair for the bedrooms with a couch, chairs, and table for the common area. staff seem nice, and were helpful any time I went to the office. there's bike racks and free parking. cons: there are shootings. there's no way you can really get away from those though, on OR off campus. the only complex without any shootings is Monarch, but you gotta be rich to go there. there are less here than other places, at least. don't walk in the grass, because nobody picks up after their dogs. notes: building 1 is definitely nicer than the other three. maintenance can be anywhere from decently fast (coming the day of) to never showing up. a lot of people leaving bad reviews likely haven't checked out any of the other options, because 111 is at the very least above average and shootings happen anywhere."

"If I could, I would give zero stars. First impressions are lasting impressions. The photos represent the condition of the apartment when we arrived for move in. There are more pictures but these more than tell the story. The place was filthy. No one should ever have to arrive to such conditions especially during a global pandemic. Obviously, no one including the former residents, returning resident, or apartment staff bothered to clean anything or throw out items prior to new people moving into the apartment. In addition, items were missing - such as the tech package that is listed on the website and things were damaged. This is totally acceptable and mere taking advantage of students who have limited choices due to the low number of on campus rooms available. 111 south and all complexes need to do better. All need to be accountable -especially the apartment complex since the lease is made between the complex and the tenant and not the returning tenant who the new tenants don’t know."
