"When I grew up here it was fun they were shooting a lot but I knew everybody we use to always be outside but that was 4 5 6 7 8 years ago I live there for 10 years I always went outside and had fun play basketball went to the back park but now it’s boring nobody out there shooting but wen I was out there it. Was fun everyone came outside bad kids bike stolen everything almost the same but everyone was outside Like everyone use to come out play basketball and all that now I would live over there but harbison west is fun they made a basketball team for me wen I was in 3rd grade and it been going on for about 5 years"

"First, let's be realistic: There's no such place as perfect in a world full of imperfections! Harbison Gardens Apartments is a pretty descent place to reside. Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Roz are kind, caring, helpful, and professional; all the things you WANT when considering office staff! The apartments are spacious, the rent is both reasonable and affordable; and maintenance does an excellent job in the restoration of the apartments when tenants move. There's a playground and laundry room on-site, there's also a pool. I like the layout of the apartments and with the exception of traffic, I love the area as well. The neighbors for the most part stay to themselves, but as with any place in the world, there are problem people. If you are on the 1st floor you need to beware of the neighborhood thieves; also be cautious the thieves steal packages from in front of your door... But these are not problems caused by the office staff or the complex... You cannot control who people are and what they do! This complex tries to give people a chance without being like the rest of the world and automatically judging the book simply by it's cover. They have a no tolarence policy, so if you do the wrong things you will be weeded out and removed. I've been living here with my family for 2.5 months and yes I recommend it to anyone apartment hunting in a lovely area of Columbia/Irmo SC."

"I like the spaciousness of their Apartments. But the trash site is horrible not enough trash cans. Be aware of your neighbors because you can be a victim of a lying manipulative evil neighbor. Maintenance is kind of slow but they are all right people."

"They are slowly making small improvements here and there but they just have so far to go. The primary issue is the tenants. The secondary issue is their willingness or ability to follow through. The pool is almost always closed and rarely properly kept up. There is little to no preventive maintenance plan in place. It takes ages for them to fix issues that you report."
