Lofts on Main

"I cannot say enough about Lofts over Main or their owners. The space was a charming nod to its roots without over-the-top theme decorating. Honestly, I'd like to hire their designer to outfit our house! It was full of thoughtful details that makes the loft special. The shower alone is worth the stay. They even had a cute set up for my dog's food and water. Yes, they allow dogs!!! I have a 65 pound German Shepherd/Husky mix. As a woman traveling alone with my dog, I felt completely safe. There is a code needed to access the lofts from the outside and a different code needed to access each loft. It's located walking distance to great restaurants and shops. I had an incredible dinner outside at dog-friendly Gather with locally sourced food, and right next door is a great breakfast smoothie place. Since I came to hike with my dog and kayak to waterfalls at Lake Jocasse, Lofts on Main location was ideal! We hiked at Stumphouse and to Yellow River Falls, both dog-friendly hikes nearby the loft. When I kayaked Jocassee via Devils Fork, it was an easy drive and I hired a great dog sitter to come walk JD while I was gone. Speaking of walking your dog, there is an empty lot next to Arby's and if you go right out of the Lofts on Main to the stop light and go right down that street, there is an overgrown lot on your left. Thank you Meghan and Jared for the delightful stay in what is the best Vrbo I've ever booked, and I've booked a lot of Vrbos through the years."

"Meghan and Jared offer the best location and experience for a weekend or weekday getaway. Clemson is where I grew up and they shared so many other fun opportunities to travel to. We left a couple of items behind and their spectacular customer service exceeded my expectations by far. They got them to us quickly with the BEST attitude EVER! "This loft was great, we went with the walhalla room, very spacious and cozy, artfully decorated, immaculately clean. Great place to unwind for anyone exploring the interesting history of the dark corner. Yes I can still call it the dark corner because it sounds way cooler then the made up name golden corner!"

"While traveling through the South Carolina area I found myself in Walhalla SC and I came across Lofts Over Main through AirBnB. This place we found was perfect for a couple on the go with a great location in the middle of town with eating options, coffee shop and fuel located within a block. There is even a tap room right around the corner for a beverage or two! There are only 2 lofts in the building The room was very modern rustic, which is all of amenities of today with the feel of yesterday it was perfect. As you can see in the pictures it’s an open floor plan “Loft” with all the bells and whistles. The open shower with the rain head was cool along with all the other Decor. The bed, shelves old trunks all of it was very cool. The hosts of the Lofts are fantastic people, super accommodating and super friendly. Highly recommend this place for travel!"
