Jamison Inn 11 Edelweiss St, Helen, GA 30545

"DO NOT STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT! BLOOD STAIN, BEDBUG/ANT INFESTED!!! It is ants/bedbug-infested! We stayed here at the very last minute. At every hotel, inn, or motel I stay at I always rip the sheet off and there was BLOOD AND PEE STAIN !!! I have stayed at last minute hotel before and never had this kind of issue. Me and my brother got 2 full-size beds and they were both covered in stains! I immediately went downstairs and showed them the pictures and gladly the front office gentlemen gave us another room with no hesitation. All that happened was room 215 He then sent us to room 211. I did the same thing with room #2 (room 211)and ripped off the cover... Once again PEE STAINS! They called the housekeeper over and changed the sheets. When they changed the sheets I knew the color of the mattresses was black and I didn't think anything about it at first until the next morning. My poor niece and I were bitten up and down! Since the mattress was black there were bedbugs and ants all over the best!!! I went down to the office again and asked for a refund or even half. I was speaking to one of the employees who were there but the owner was out of town. He said he was unable to do anything since the owner wasn't there. Again, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!"

"Room 229 at first glance looked ok, however upon further inspection the bed covers were full of greasy stains which either looked like lube or something else, the bathroom door was filthy and part of the door trim was ripped off, the adjoining inside door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. The floor had not been vacuumed and had garbage and food under the bed. The sheets were full of stains. Inside the drawer looked like there was tobacco in it. I told the guy at the desk that the room was gross and he pointed out on the receipt that once the room was accepted there were no refunds PERIOD written right on the receipt. For $140 a night not worth it. STAY AWAY! Told him he should check the maids that clean the rooms. He didn’t care. I have pictures but it won’t let me post"

"We came to stay the weekend in Helen, Georgia and were in need of somewhere close to all the fun and activities. This place was in walking distance of dang near everything. Rooms were actually BETTER than we thought, and the guy at the front desk was amazing. We enjoyed our stay here a lot, very clean and comfortable beds. Highly recommended especially if you have a golf cart that you brought or go rent one!"

"I truly enjoyed my stay here. Although we asked for a king smoking they had a double smoking which was nice and clean. The shower had great pressure and the a/c was nice and cold. It didn't have a fridge or a microwave though. Yes the rooms were dated but honestly it made the stay more comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and polite. Love the location wasn't right in the main part of town so traffic was light and it was quiet. Will definitely be staying again!"

"Male staff associate was nice. Last minute stay. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Ashes in an ash tray and in the bathroom trash can. Immediately told staff and I was given a spray - no questions asked or tried to accommadate for the smell. The spray clouded the smell. Cigarette buds in front of the door and all around the parking lot made us question it was a smoking room. Curtains had holes in it. Linens for one person instead of two people. Something was left on the ground behind the chair, it could have been trimming. Only two lamps worked in the room. Mini fridge was not cleaned. Not enough soap. No ice bucket, ice machine wasn't working either. We had flies in our room as well. Overall, I wouldn't recommend, especially for the price we paid."
