"I would not recommend MUSC or orthopedic doctor Milton Armstrong. I still suffer from nerve damage; not even near the site of the surgery due to improper wrapping and care while under the anesthesia. Also the stitches look like a child stitched them. The scar is horrid. I do not like sharing reviews like this but sharing my experience and knowledge to help others to make an informed decision is so necessary. I suffer from daily pain from this botched surgery and don’t want it to happen to anyone else! There are too many details for one review so I will end with - we met with Dr. Milton Armstrong many times to talk after surgery and he was very cold and just recommended more surgeries to fix the mistakes he made with the first."

"Don’t waste your time with Dr. Armstrong. His office is very incompetent, especially the scheduler Queniece. She gives his practice a very bad reputation from giving medical advice to being very rude & nasty. Dr. Armstrong never returns your call about important concerns. I wouldn’t waste my time. First, I had my consultation in January 2022 and he asked that I lose more weight around 15-20lbs. I lost about 10 more pounds and went back March 2022 and they took pictures for my insurance said they would be submitting to insurance and I should be hearing something in the next 2 weeks. Ok cool so 2 weeks went by I was calling insurance company and no submission so I called his office and she saids oh I’ll submit it today so 2 weeks time wasted. So I’m the meantime I fax over my ct scan so they can address the hernia that I have which never happened. But what did happen I got approved and 2 days before my surgery is when the scheduler decides she wants to be the doctor and schedules me an appointment for GI so they can address the hernia @ yes 2 days before surgery…needless to say I didn’t have surgery and requested a refund which I had to request twice so now I’m going to prisma health plastic’s."
