"Our room was not clean. The floors had not been swept, there was a Qtip under the desk, something brown splattered on the wall next to the hair dryer. I used a washcloth and soap and cleaned up the best I could It was late and we made due, went to bed and got the heck out."

"I have been a Choice Hotels Loyalty Club member since 2008. The staff at this Quality Inn were very pleasant and friendly, but the hotel is, in my opinion, well below the standards of the Choice Hotels chain. The room, 119, was very unclean with large dirt deposits in corners, particularly in the bathroom, clumps of dust throughout the room and several black smudges on the back of the bathroom door. The microwave was missing the round glass plate, which was hunted down when we went to the desk to ask for it, which we had to do as there were no phones in the room. The shower ran only very cold water. When we complained, again at the desk, the desk clerk came to the room, and showed us that we had to press very firmly on the turn knob in the shower to get hot water. Never in my travelling experience has this happened. During my shower, the water ran suddenly very cold and I had to quickly try to again press hard against the turn knob to get warm water again. This was obviously a maintenance issue as there was no evidence that this needed to be done. It was the usual round knob with the red and blue lines indicating hot and cold zones on the turn knob. All hinges, baseboards, etc. were rusted and dirty looking. There was easily a 1/2" gap between the outside hotel room door and the door frame when the door was closed, leaving a streak of light di]uring the night, and allowing excess noise into the room. The microwave and small fridge were so light that opening their doors moved the appliance towards us off its base. There were broken pieces of furniture and various debris on the walkways around the hotel facility. The "Value Q" card in the room met only the bed promise, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate - the only "hot" item was waffles. Coffee was poor quality both in room and at breakfast. The 'Commitment to Clean' was definitely not met. We were charged an environmental fee and the was no option to recycle anything, anywhere. There was no compensation offered for these inadequacies - only the instruction to contact the manager. It would be hard to conceive that the manager was not well aware of the inadequacies as he apparently is on site part of the day, which apparently was scheduled for after we left. We will not be returning to this location. The previous night we stayed at a Sleep Inn in Beaver, WV, which was far superior in every way to this hotel. This was a very disappointing experience at a Quality Inn facility."

"Staff was very friendly. The room was updated. However, it still had an "old" smell to it. Bathtub had some questionable marks on it. We didn't stay for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Lobby doors were locked and lights were out prior to 6 am. I'm assuming the desk isn't staffed 24 hours. This may be a concern for some. Overall, it was a decent place to rest while passing through."

"Ok rooms, pet friendly was great. Hotel was just remodeled but could still use some work.(See Pics.-chair was gross) Very friendly staff and place was quiet."
