Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Savannah - Pooler

"Great location right off I-95, plenty of options close by for dining and shopping reasonable price. Stayed in newly renovated room with the vinyl plank flooring, much nicer than icky carpet. Overall, rooms are clean with good size refrigerator, heat top, counter/cabinets with full sink. Bring your own utensils/plates/cups/pots-pans as those aren't provided. Only ding is housekeeping left a painfully obvious multi stained bed cover on the bed which of course, got immediately pulled off. Sheets appeared clean, please be so. Do better with the laundering and this would definitely be 5 star all the way. Also very happy they accept pets."

"When I got there staff was wonderful… hotel looked very clean… staff did tell me room was very basic but that was fine me and my baby was just there to visit her father as he travels for work… when they mean basic they mean basic nothing in it kitchen had nothing you had to ask for stuff for kitchen… staff did tell me breakfast was a grab and go type of thing so coffee, grit packets, oatmeal packets, muffins, and granola bars…. When I got to room I could tell they just got done cleaning which is a good thing but the room had a distinct smell. It didn’t stink but it was just a weird smell and then I also noticed in the hallways that it did smell like marijuana also right before we left, the elevator went down from Saturday to Sunday we were there Friday to Sunday very inconvenient being on the second floor and having a newborn baby so we had to carry everything down the stairs including her every time we left and came back… but it is a great location to be in and staff was great to us!"

"The room was very unpleasant and smelled of pesticides. The bathroom was also dirty but we decided to stay. We reserved our room for 2 nights. During our trip next day we received a phone call from the front desk stating that our belongings are still in the room. I explained to the manager (Corinne) that some mistake had been made. She was unwilling to help and said that one of her employees had said that I came to the front desk and requested an early check out, which I did not. They apparently confused me with another guest. The manager and all present employees where not willing to help and became almost hostile. I requested for them to review the camara footage and see that it wasn't me...VERY STRANGE!!!! Every employee should be fired for the way they treated my elderly mother!!!! Do NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!"

"We travel up and down the East coast every year or so and on our way out of and back on to Florida, we make a point to stop here. It’s an easy drive up from where we live and it’s always a great place to rest before the last leg home. Clean, quiet, always friendly, Pooler is a fast growing town with plenty to eat and do. Wish the rooms had just a little more and once in a blue moon you might spot some cleaner on the counters. But we have never had a poor experience."

"Our experience at this hotel was outstanding. The manager Michael, was a life saver for us with amazing guest service. This past September, my fiancé and I were traveling from FL to NC to visit family, and 4 hours into our trip we experienced a medical emergency. We obviously couldn’t finish driving another 6 hours to our destination, and after calling countless hotels between Brunswick and Pooler, Michael was the only person who offered any help to us. We were traveling with our dog, making finding a room extremely difficult, even for hotels advertising as “pet-friendly”. This was the only hotel we found that was fully pet friendly with zero hoops to jump through or contingencies that made our travels with our dog difficult. Michael was amazing in helping us get booked, and even called with a heads up that the elevator was currently out of order. The communication/guest service was comparable to what we often experience at places like Disney/Universal. We will always be thankful for Michael and his staff that day, and have already decided to keep returning for all of our road trips to NC to make our trips easier!"
