"They canceled my appointment without contacting me. When I came to see dr Hunter they told me that my time was canceled and suggested I was laying about booking a time. Rude and unprofessional."

"My husband was very ill. Was seen at urgent care and the X-ray read stated he should have a ct scan. Called the office multiple times Wednesday and Thursday. Was told to come in next Thursday. The girl who was speaking to him, hung up on him twice when she was done speaking. He was never rude or unkind on the phone. The first time we thought it was accidentally disconnected, but we didn’t get a call back. He ended up in the ER on Friday with pneumonia. I’ve never encountered such rude staff. He will not be returning to see Dr Inman ever again. My husband is also a local area physician. You should think twice before choosing this office for your primary care needs."

"If you’re suffering from depression and anxiety and desperate to see a doctor do not choose this facility. They do not take mental illness seriously. After waiting weeks for an appointment I waited for over an hour to see the doctor only to be told that they forgot about my appt. Even though it was them that had signed me initially. After an additional 10 minutes of waiting to be seen, I left. My anxiety got so severe from waiting over an hour that I had to just leave. I couldn’t take it anymore."

"I wish I could give negative stars on this review. I have never dealt with a more uncaring office staff in my life. That is so unfortunate for their new doctor because we really liked him, but will not be returning. Not to get into the details, but they coded the visit incorrectly and refuse to adjust it so a visit for a medical issue my husband was having is now a $600 bill. Our insurance tried to call them and ask them to recode and they refused. It also took us 5 tries to get them to even answer any of our messages when we had questions about the bill."

"Great experience at Island Medical. I came here via Summerville looking for a better overall doctors office without the masses of coughing sick patience you have in those other doctor offices (palmetto primary). Love Dr Johnson!! He is willing to take time with you and doesn't make you feel like he is in a hurry. His assist Brittany, is great as well. She took my blood and I have never had anyone do such a painless job like she did. She is GOOD!! I would highly recommend Island Medical on Daniel Island."
