"I was seen at the St. Francis Roper Urgent care in Summerville, SC. I had been ill with significant cough, low grade fever and upper respiratory symptoms over a weeks time. inItially the symptoms improved however by the second week took a turn for the worse. I was coughing so hard thought I was going to be sick. My chest hurt and it was difficult to breathe. My husband has similar symptoms however not as severe. Upon checking in the staff informed us that there could be up to a 2 hour wait. Fortunately the staff got us both in within 10 minutes. We were both seen by the nurse initially then we were assessed by the physician. Fortunately my chest didn’t demonstrate pneumonia. The physician prescribed an antibiotic, steroid and cough syrup. Almost a week later and last day of medications I am feeling so much better. I haven been this ill in years but so grateful to the physician and medical staff at the urgent care! Staff was wonderful, kind, and helpful! Thank you !"
