"The care I received was excellent. I made an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait a long time. I understand that sometimes you’ll get behind but we waited over 90 minutes. The receptionist was, well, not very welcoming. It would have been helpful if she kept us updated on expected time."

"I went in with an eye issue, no appointment on 12/30/23. They got me in in a timely manner, everyone was kind and understanding. The PA, was amazing. I believe the name was Marion, but it was late afternoon and she was great. She patiently dealt with my eye and was able to keep the mood up while telling me I scratched my cornea and would have to wear glasses for a week. My experience with her was enough to ask if she was in private practice, and dang, I wish she was."

This place, however, had me feeling like they were committed to finding out what was causing my ailment and didn't downplay my concerns. . I was impressed with their professionalism and helpfulness. "First time patient, I was very impressed with the online check-in process for paperwork and choosing an available time. Although the doors opened a little late, I was there for my 7:45 “appointment” realizing this is not an exact science. I was on the phone with Saint Joseph’s/Candler urgent care to find out their wait times at 9:05 AM when I finally was called back. The nurse and PA were very professional and helpful, although the wait times between their visits also seemed longer than I had hoped. The place was very clean and pleasant to be in. Would probably have rated five stars if it wasn’t for the excessive waits. One thought, if an appointment is scheduled for something like a DOT transportation physical, perhaps the next available times might be a little bit later to accommodate such a procedure so that patients can select times that might be more readily close to actually being available. I may try it again if it is needed to see if this was a fluke. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience, and the care I received was very top-notch."

One of the tests I wanted to do was not covered by my insurance and would have cost me a lot of money, instead of the provider just doing it, she let me know. I really appreciate that."
