"On the evening of October 7th, 2020, I had a freak accident while eating a bag of popcorn. I inhaled a kernel that became lodged in my right lung. I was able to get in to see him the following morning and he confirmed the kernel was, in fact, lodged. He gave me explicit instructions on the course of action and his staff worked feverishly to assist me as well. His referral to the ER and to the appropriate pulmonologist resulted in my being admitted for a bronchoscopy for kernel removal. Dr. Stokes called me on my way to the ER to see how I was doing, while I was in the ER and again the morning of the 9th as I was in the recovery room after the procedure. He and his staff exceeded any expectations I had regarding this situation."

"I accompanied my son on his recent appointment. In my 51 years, I've never met a doctor so rude and as inconsiderate as Dr. Stokes. His bed side manners is horrible. He spoke down to my son and I both and he was was disrespectful. I asked why was he being so rude and impolite, he advised that he was concerned. WOW!! I guess rudeness is a new way to show compassion and concern. Perhaps, he was having a bad day at least I hope this was the issue."
