He talks to you with words you can understand, not at you with medical terms. He showed xrays of exactly what the problem is and discusses treatment options, then let's you make decisions on what is best for you. Dr Hurst was thorough, kind, and allowed me total autonomy when it came to the decision to do one or the other. He explained the pros and cons of both in detail, then graciously left the decision to me. I must add this also. My husband came with me. He has Alzheimers. Dr Hurst was so appropriately interactive with him and put my mind at ease while giving me the news I really didn’t want to hear - double surgery as an option. "I honestly can’t believe how wonderful of an experience I had with this office. The first thing I noticed, is that they did not have a loud blaring TV in their waiting room. Normally, I have to wear earplugs to be able to sit in a loud environment but this place was calm and serene. Everyone I interacted with in the front office were warm and caring. Well, everyone actually, from the person who took my vitals to the x-ray tech and then onto the doctor: everyone made me feel welcome. My pain was taken very seriously by the doctor and he was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about his field. I really appreciate doctors who take their time with their patients and Dr. Tingle did just that. He was very courteous and understanding and he spent time explaining why he thinks I have so much pain in my shoulder. 10/10, highly recommended."
