Publix Super Market at University Square Shopping Center

"Three stars because I've had some great experiences, but also a few poor visits. I'm not sure what happened, but the overall quality of customer service has gone way down at Publix. What happened to the smiles? What happened to greeting customers? All that aside, today a deli worker started to make my vegan club with a knife covered in I'm not sure what. It looked like meat or mayonnaise, neither of which are vegan. Once I got them to clean the knife and change their gloves, they left to grab more ingredients. When they returned, they wiped their nose with their bare hand right in front of me. I asked them to wash their hands, and they did, but not for very long. Or not long enough for my liking. This really bothers me because what else back there has been touched with such unclean hands?What other health standards are not being followed? I understand this was an isolated incident but it's ruined my ability to eat at this deli, and to me it's right in line with how Publix standards have fallen in recent years."

"I was at this location to visit the pharmacy. I needed a tetanus vaccine and was in and out in 20 mins. They also had the best price of any pharmacy in the area because they accepted a discount card for vaccines and most other pharmacies told me they couldn't use one. All around great experience!"

"In my opinion, Publix is the only place to get your birthday cakes. Way, Way better than Walmart and Dairy Queen. The price isn't but a dollar or two higher, but the cake will shake hands with your taste buds and you will know it was a good deal :)"
