"The Walgreens on highway 17 at Cottonvale You have a man in the pharmacy named James. I dont know if he is the pharmacist or a clerk but he is the rudest person when you are trying to find out about your prescriptions. I got a phone call on the automatic call saying they were having trouble getting a script approved by the insurance company. I called to find out which one and he was so rude and telling me I had four ready but that was all he would tell me. I had my insurance counselor on the other line waiting to find out what it was so she could check on it for me. I know I get alot of medicine from there and all at different times. I am an old woman, sick and depend on my medicine. I would appreciate it if you would explain to him I can't help it when they come due and if there is a problem just tell me and I will go back to Richmond Hills where I was treated like a human."

"Pharmacists "Allan" is one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. Zero knowledge in how to talk to customers. Update to my review: changing my 1 star to a 4 star. Shortly after Dr. Allan was so rude... He reversed course. I'm guessing he realized that he was in the wrong and he apologized to me. So no harm done and I commend him for making things right. I'll just chalk it up to him having a bad day or maybe he has other things going on in life. You never know what ppl are dealing with behind closed doors so it's no big deal."

"I scheduled a Covid Test online and showed up for my appointment. the instructions online say to follow the signs outside your walgreens location and to remain in the car. There were no signs directing Covid Testing. Tried calling multiple times the store to let them know I was here for my appointment. Was sent to the same automated message that would not give me the option to say I’m here for my appointment or connect me to real person. Then I sat in the pharmacy drive thru and pressed the call button for the pharmacist waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement or no one telling me to hold on a moment. Horribly upset they wasted my time like this. They are set up for failure for Covid Testing. DO NOT COME HERE. Will be sure to pass along to friends family and colleagues."

"The worst Walgreens in the Savannah area! Trust me, go to the CVS across the street. I live in a Sub-Division near this Walgreens and visit it frequently. Every single time I go into this store, there is a hold up at the register that takes several minutes to resolve - I have waited up to 20 minutes one day with the same Customer at the register. As I walk through the front door, the Customer at the register will be the same Customer who is still there when i am ready to check out - no matter how long I shop. I have seen the Employee hold up the line by talking to the Customer, which is very frustrating. Like I said, the CVS across the street is much better ran and you are in & out as fast as you would like - they have self check out."

"Jim and his team in the Pharmacy are very thorough, personable, and excellent! They're just good people all around as well. I'm often unable to pick my medications up myself unfortunately. But, almost everytime my husband comes home with my scripts he'll share the details of the experience with me. He's often telling me that they ask how I'm doing or for my husband to "say hi" to me for them. It's quite heartwarming...even from home! Not only does the pharmacy strive for excellence, but all of the staff I've encountered there have been very helpful and most friendly. It's the reason why we drive a bit out of the way to go there. There is a location closer. But, this is definitely "our" Walgreens! Thank you for the years of service and hospitality. We are very grateful for it all. Sincerely, Amber"
