Homewood Suites by Hilton North Charleston

"This was an amazing place to stay with our dog. The rooms were huge, clean, had a full kitchen, & felt like home. Tons of room for our dog to play. You can walk around the property which is actually two hotels. The walk is .25 mile around. It was perfect exercise for our dog. The entire staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was friendly & spoiled our dog with extra love & treats. I even dropped his raincoat which they went and found for me & returned it to me when I arrived back. Nice outside areas to hang out under an enclosed patio with restaurant, another area to outdoor grill or play games like cornhole, great free breakfast, gym, laundry, close to tons of restaurants & shopping. The only negative was not enough parking in the front on the building but if you went in the back there was plenty of parking for everyone. Definetely lacking handicapped parking which would make it very difficult for those needing close parking. Overall we would absolutely stay here again. Loved it!!!"

"Pro: Military friendly, Here for a few days and the room is great it’s clean, standard full size fridge/freezer, stovetop and microwave, comes with some pots/pans/plates/dinnerware/soap and cups and such. Clean bathroom and bed! Con:Took away a star because the people who smoke outside smell so bad and when they come inside it stinks up the hotel halls/elevators and such. It’s so gross and I believe the whole place should be smoke free it would keep the hotel less trashy."

"Our stay began with a warm welcome at the front desk by Assistant Manager Vanessa. She was courteous and professional and provided us with great referrals to see the city as tourists. Karen did an amazing job with breakfast every morning and greeted us with a warm smile. The hotel was centrally located which made navigating downtown convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The employees at this hotel are outstanding. Every single employee we encountered went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The front desk staff were all super friendly. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Not a far drive from great places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!"
