"My husband and I decided to try a new spot to us for breakfast. We searched Google for breakfast near us and The Original Brunches appeared. We decided to check it out and it was okay. A mom and pop restaurant that wasn't too far from us. I had the shrimp and grits and he had the pancake special. It didn't take long to be served and we were in and out in about 40 minutes or less. I wasn't WOW'ed so that's the reason for the 4 stars. The grits were seasoned well but the pancakes were a little over-done but edible. The meal was less than $25 for both of us. I would return because the food was decent, customer service was okay, and there was practically no wait."

"This was the best chicken fried steak and shrimp and grits I've had anywhere. The steak was tender not tough and stringy. The white gravy and grits tasted just like my grandmother's. The shrimp were flavorful and tops with fresh bacon bits. The services was great, the prices even better and you get that really country dinner feel. The local police even were eating here."
