"I gave them 3 stars only because I only had a piece on caramel salted cheesecake, it was great. We went here because a guy had recommended that we go there and try the cheesesteak sandwiches. The only reason we didn’t eat eat was we both felt like we were underdressed. The wait staff was very nice. Will be going back to eat some food"

"One of the friendliest and nicest bars in town. I'd call it an upscale pub with a dark, cheerful and relaxed interior. It's nice to have a place in 5-points where adults and college students can happily coexist, though they mostly cater to professionals of all ages. I'm so thankful these guys are still serving Columbia after all these years, including the 38 years I can personally vouch for. Highly recommend a visit."

"Went 1st time last night. Love the atmosphere... they were playing Sinatra, soft jazz, etc when we got there. Bumped up to more contemporary, but not too loud, which was great for conversation. We ordered the 1lb mussels w/Thai chili...YUM! And Beef Borganion...good but could've used more wine. Tuesdays are 25% off bottles of wine. Nice surprise. I do wish there was a goat dish on the menu! The duck tacos were fabulous (& Gluten free if matters for you). We will be going back! OP (or Opie?) the owner and Johanna or server were very gracious!"

"Great atmosphere, casual gastropub style restaurant and bar that is home to great wine and food in a pleasant but funky)in a good way!) atmosphere. The owner is great and Goats has definitely earned its place as a locals staple."
