"We went to a family lunch to celebrate the birthday of my sister-in-law. Since we are originally from Buffalo, you can imagine how much we enjoy R Bar. There are all the foods we are accustomed to from our hometown. There was a very pleasant and courteous waiter at our table. In spite of the fact that he entered all of our orders correctly, there was a little mishap in the kitchen between mine and my sister-in-law's sandwich. We swapped what we could between her order and mine so they would not have to remake my sandwich and she would simply need a new one. Upon explaining what we had done, a lady in a Pittsburgh Penguins shirt emerged from the back abruptly asking in a rude tone, "tell me what is wrong with this sandwich". She replied, "Well it's already half eaten," while she touched with her bare naked hands, expecting my pregnant sister-in-law to take it back. Please note that it was not half eaten, I still had the other part on my plate, and she indicated that she required it back in order to prepare a completely new sandwich. In an effort to appease such a miserable soul, I politely returned the half of chicken finger to her. As a result of our further discussion, she took her poor attitude back to the kitchen and remade the sandwich. As a result of this lady's poor attitude regarding an issue her kitchen staff had created, we were all very uncomfortable. It would be prudent for her to consider other careers if a messed up sandwich has the potential to make her that angry."

"This bar is large and is a sports bar, which for me is a positive...albeit a Buffalo Bills bar. They have a lot of tv's for watching games. The biggest drawback to this bar, especially one this big, is the number of beers on tap....only 7 beers on tap, which is inexcusable. I've been in much smaller bars (sf ft) and they had 20 or more beers on tap. Had a burger which was good, the fries were a bit under and were soggy."

"Very deceiving exterior. Good sports bar. Service was excellent, food is good and lots of TV's. Obviously load on a Saturday night but was fun. Prices are reasonable."

"Food is fantastic. Servers/Bartenders are wonderful. Atmosphere is chill and welcoming. This was our first time here after hearing countless recommendations, and I'm so glad we came. We tried the fried pickles appetizer as well as the onion dip with house-made chips. The pickles were sliced fresh, and the breading used was perfect. The onion dip was homemade with caramelized onions - by far, my favorite thing of the night! We each tried a custom burger. Hubby got the 'Da Bomb' and I got the 'Trailer Park'. Da Bomb is topped with jalapeño popper dip and bacon. Trailer Park came with a honey-sweetened peanut butter sauce, bacon, and potato chips on it. The fries we got on the side were hand-cut and made fresh to order. The only thing better than the food was our amazing server. He was extraordinarily friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We loved our first experience here, and we'll definitely be returning!"
