"Bare bones camping. Quiet, except for traffic on main road and occasional in flight noise. Camp Host, Nate, was very sociable and informative, always smiling and waving as we would pass! He was very informative on what was available on base . Didn’t mind the drive to the laundry, clean and easy to use with bank card."

"It's a very average to below average campground. It did the job for us since we were just passing through and wanted to spend a couple days checking out Savannah. The grounds are kept up much of at all. We are a 42' 5th wheel and barley squeezed in spot 5 (no fire pit on that spot). We would go again for the convenience and the price, just wish they would clean up the area some. No bathrooms, picnic tables are cemented in,and there is a grill on each site."

"No bathroom or laundry, but close to Savanna and each site has pretty good space with shade. The gym and laundry are about 13 mins away on post. There is a road that gets you there without leaving post. The Exchange and Commissary are in that same area. Nice people here but no frills. Fishing 1/2 a mile away at Lotts Island. Walmart is about a mile away. Good location with a decent rate. Enjoy!"

"This is a small RV park of 16 sites right off the Rio Gate at Hunter Army Airfield. It's right next to the Savannah Mall, so there is plenty of road noise. The road into the campground is easy to miss. It's literally 100' past the gate on the left. The CG road is dirt and potholed. The sites are grass/dirt although there is a paved pavilion. There is no restroom or bath house. It's currently $25/night."

"Actually a very nice place when it hasn't rained in several days. Large spacious lots with of large trees (shade). But when it does rain (about 1/2 the time) you will be slogging around in mud and water that is shoe top deep for days!"
