"Great place to stay in Charleston. We had a good time. Sites were level. Bath houses were clean. They have propane too."

"Overall, not a bad place. However, good luck making a left turn out of the campground - most of the time we had to turn right and either make a big loop back to the highway or make a u-turn at the next light. Some sites are larger than others, ours was not very wide and the neighboring sites sewer connection was almost under our awning. Bathhouse #2 was clean, but the hooks on the stall doors pop off easily. We prefer open windows when possible and this campground has a lot of road noise from the highway and from the road behind. Convenient to a grocery, the nearby gas station is going to be a little tough to get in/out of is your rig is very big."

"We have stayed her 4-5 times. We love the close proximity to Charleston. A lot of other activities in the area. We keep coming back, and will be back again. Great food truck on the weekends. Our recent stay was for 8 nights."

"This was our first time here & I know it won't be our last.....! Honestly, we found nothing 'negative' about this camp ground-the people are friendly, the rates are reasonable, the sites are spacious & easy to navigate, the camp grounds/bath houses are clean & well maintained, the location is great-close enough to downtown, but far enough away that you feel like you're out in the woods, far away from the hustle & bustle of Charleston & the Wifi was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay here & will definitely come back. Highly recommend Oak Plantation Campground & we'd like to say thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful place for us to call home for a few days......"

"Older nice maintained campground. Reasonably priced. The street you use to approach the campground is busy, so turning in may take a while. There is a pool up front that is older but its well maintained. The shower facilities are updated and super clean. Nice is that all camsites are far away from the street. You have the choice of grassy, gravel or full concrete slab. Partial or full hookup. Overall a great campground with some really nice mature oak trees. Everything was very nicely maintained and we encountered a friendly crowd of people there. We had a great stay and I recommend the Oak Plantation for a good overall value."
