Satori West Ashley Apartments

"I am not happy with my living situation at Satori West Ashley.! If you are looking for a luxury apartment, keep looking that term does not apply to this apartment complex at this time! Ever since I moved into this apartment in August, we have had a massive issue with dog waste. Many of the residents here don’t feel it’s their responsibility to pick up after their dog and the property doesn’t seem to be able to manage the issue. I have stepped in dog poop, have found it in true elevator, I have found it on the stairs. It is all over the grass, the walking trails, the dog park, and everywhere you go outside. I have complained more times than I can count about the issue and it never seems to be fixed. I will say that every time I have brought the issue to the staff that work here they are extremely receptive and try to do what they can to manage the issue. That said Davis development the property management is obviously not giving our property enough resources to manage the issue. I don’t feel that anybody paying as much as we do here for rent, should have to deal with dog poop littering the property constantly. Davis development why haven’t you fixed this issue? Why aren’t there cameras posted up so that you can hold offenders responsible? Why haven’t you hired a company to come clean up dog poop on a biweekly or monthly basis? Why do residents live here seven days a week only have somebody cleaning the property five days a week? I would be happy to change my review when I see something change with the issue that I’ve been complaining about for months. Sending someone out to clean it up doesn’t fix the issue. It just slaps a Band-Aid on it. We need to be able to stop people who are offending and breaking their lease by not picking up after their dogs."

"***Update to my original review*** After speaking with the corporate office and the onsite property manager, they have tried to go above and beyond to make my family happy and whole. I truly appreciate the effort. I have since added 2 additional stars. Once I am completely fly free I will be happy to give them a 5 star review. If you love luxury then don't move here. I rarely leave reviews but I'm so upset at this moment, I feel the need to share my experience. My family moved here n mid August and it has been quite an ordeal ever since. We have had hundreds if not thousands of phorid flies infesting our apartment due to a sewage leak inside our wall. We have flies landing in our drinks, crawling all over our food, flying in our noses and eyes! It's absolutely disgusting and reprehensible. This has been going on for months! I'm so over it. Management seems to think reimbursing me for fly traps is sufficient compensation for the disruption. My home should be my peaceful space but it's literally a nightmare that I'm paying $2800 to live in. Look at the photos. See for yourself."

"Leasing office staff are all amazing. Seth welcomed us on day one. He helped us transition during a very stressful time. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother move in. Alexis is attentive and knows all of the residents names. Chase keeps the place looking ship shape and is always so kind and friendly while addressing residents needs. Very dog friendly - see our hound mix Max pictured on our spacious L shaped porch. These are definitely luxury apartments with the most amazing ammenities and staff."

"Satori West Ashley is a great place to live! The apartments are beautiful as is the pool and the gym. Truly a resort living experience. The on-site management are truly wonderful and extremely helpful. Every resident I have met here has been so nice and kind. Couldn’t recommend enough!"
