"We absolutely loved the condo. It was in a perfect location on King street with easy access to all the fun. The place was very cool and amazingly clean. We especially liked the courtyard area with outside seating. We will definitely be back!"
"Perfect location! Our family rented for a wedding weekend. Lots of space in this home - 2 different gathering/entertainment areas. The beds were so comfortable too. Perfect home for family gathering - quick walk to the beach - spacious kitchen - we definitely will be back! Perfect stay for us!"
"Our place was nice, a little bit of trouble getting in but overall a nice experience. Trash was impossible to find and the directions were wrong but thats fine too... what is most upsetting was, I left three pairs of jeans in the dresser in the main bedroom... called every single day for a week including 8am the morning after we left where we could see the place was still open. Talked to several different people and nobody would give me an answer. I asked them to call me back each day after they spoke with housekeeping... never got a single call back. A week later I called again for the 6th time and one woman said she would "go over there now and check" as in THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME THEY EVEN CHECKED... and of course, the jeans were gone. I even asked if I could go check myself that Monday morning and the woman laughed and said "absolutely not". Needless to say, it was MY fault for leaving the jeans however the customer service after the fact was abysmal and now I no longer have my three most favorite pairs of jeans. The end. I won't be using Vacasa again."
"We stayed at 4522 Park Lake Drive in the first week of Aug 2023. The unit has an updated kitchen and bathrooms, and is in a good location: quick walk to beach, The Nest, Night Heron Park, and more. Unfortunately, the unit was very dirty when we arrived. Nobody had vacuumed, let alone mopped, and dog hair, crumbs, etc were noticeable with every step. We mopped on our first night and the water was a dark gray/brown after finishing the kitchen and living room. There was also no effort made to clean the screened in porch, which was littered with sand, leaves, and cobwebs. The code to the electronic lock didn't work on arrival (following a four hour trip with kids), and it took about 30 minutes to get the keys out of the lockbox. Vacasa was not responsive when we raised issues with the condition of the unit, other than to acknowledge receipt. We've been to Kiawah many times and never experienced this. Very disappointing and would not recommend Vacasa."
"Border line criminal. Booked this condo at Kiawah for a week with my family. Got into condo an hour after check in to find someone was still there. No problem, stuff happens. Told to come back at 7 or so. We came back and stayed for less than a minute. The place smelled like booze, cigarettes, the carpet was nasty enough that I wouldn't have stepped on it without shoes. I opened the fridge, and someone had put some kind of seafood in there and didn't clean it out. Awful. As I decided not to bring my family inside and leave, I found mold around the doorway. Absolutely unacceptable. Ended up getting another place after not being able to get a lot of information from the on call person. So about $600 later got a great place. We started the refund process. We ended up getting a refund $400 short of what we originally paid for the week. Be aware before you book reviews. Please look at pictures attached and see what you will be getting into after driving all day to get Kiawah. What crooks!"
