"The food is a great substitute for home cooking when you're short on time. The drive-thru can take a while to get through, so be prepared for a good 15-minute wait or longer, depending on the time of day. During this visit, my food portions were smaller than usual. Too small. The staff is usually very nice. I suggest a baked chicken breast if you need a big portion of meat. As you can see from the picture, it is a good idea to request extra gravy if you order it. The best sides I've had are the black eyed peas and macaroni. The beef stew is good but can be salty some days. Lemonade is super sweet the way I like it."

"Went through the drive thru on Thanksgiving Day to get a Thanksgiving meal. I had the chicken fried steak, collards, and dressing. I was wanting mac & cheese but it was a 10 minute wait so I ordered a extra side of dressing. The food was delicious, just wish I had ordered extra gravy for the dressing."

"Service was great! We able seat ourselves as soon as we walked in. We both ordered the shrimp. This item should be removed from the menu. It looked at tasted like shrimp from the frozen food section. The fries were fried too hard as well as the okra. Probably will not return."

"Great place for southern home-style food. I got some fried chicken and an assortment of vegetable sides. My meal came with corn bread, and I got some hot tea as my drink. There were several different meat choices, and a wide variety of veggie choices. If you wanted extra, it was really cheap. I got an extra helping of chicken for around $5 and an extra side of veggies for around $3. For my veggies, I got the mashed potatoes, fresh collard, fried mixed veggies, and green beans. The chicken was fantastic, with crispy skin and juicy meat. The collard was the only side that I didn't really care for, but that was more the vegetable itself rather than the quality, I think. All in all, a pleasant experience!"
