"Next time I'll bring a thermo with coffee and pan dulce to enjoy a morning in front of the river watching the boulders and the turtles on top."
"One of the less used parks around the Congaree makes this a great place to get away from it all. If they ever fix the bridge in the middle of the park this place might see more activity."
"Peaceful little park with a paved trail along the river. There's scatter of dirt trails around as well. The trees provided much need shade. The paths are elevated a few feet above the river banks so no good entry to the river."
"Wonderful concrete trail with picnic table and benches throughout. Drove up in the parking lot to several car having closed window smoking parties. The bathrooms were clean just not updated so expect camping toilets with doors that won't close."
"This is a nice park, but it's definitely the grubbiest of the Three Rivers Greenway system. It's not big enough to get a proper long walk in, and there's currently a bridge out, so you take a detour through the woods. There's some fun graffiti at one point, but that end ends up at a dead end street and it's not as pretty. Then the other way ends abruptly too. There's some trail a bit father, but not that far. Mostly, it's better for picnicking and walking the dog than exercise. And my visit was colored by two dudes definitely up to something, loitering and on their phones the whole time and meeting up with people. It was pretty sketchy, whatever it was."
