Beck's 2111 Kings Way, Augusta, GA 30904

"Went for a birthday dinner with 6 couples. We ordered some oysters. All the couples except for us received their oysters and appetizers. We let the waitress know we were missing our oysters. She told us she would go check on them then she disappeared. Suddenly we are all being served our hot entrees. I'm so confused and ask our waitress once more if our oysters are coming to which she replies yes. Halfway through our entree an oyster shucker storms towards our table in a threatening demeanor. He's so angry that he's shaking. He verbally attacks the entire table and continues to point fingers at us. I've never experienced a more hostile dining experience in my entire life. He then slams a tray of oysters in front of us then proceeds to tell us how we had been complaining the entire time. At no point did we complain. We had been very patient the entire evening. I declined the oyster tray that he had just slammed in front of me after he had yelled all over the tray. Unacceptable behavior! I don't think it's too much to ask for to feel safe when you eat at a restaurant like Beck's. I'm in utter disbelief! To make things worse, we got charged for the oysters and never got an apology. The owner or at least a manager should reach out to me."

"Mmmmm… if you don’t like fresh seafood with a fine dining twist.. then Beck’s is not for you! For those of us who do, you want to make reservations and expect to have a wonderful experience! The fried lobster is AWESOME! The lobster is tender and the batter is light and sooo tasty! Not a fan of onions rings, but they weren’t bad either. Do yourself a favor and order the Pimento hushpuppies! Thank me later! You MUST dine here!"

"I went for a friend's birthday dinner. The atmosphere is great! It's a lovely restaurant. The food was great and the service was nice too! I would recommend the Oysters. Definitely check it out!"

"Could not ask for better service or a more delicious meal experience. Oysters were so good and the oyster chef came to our table to let us know his suggestions. Our waitress was spot on and the owner/manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. Super experience and we will definitely be back."

"It’s rare to find that restaurant that makes you feel like you’re the only table in the whole place, the food is delicious, the wait staff was by far the best and most attentive I’ve had ever. If you’re drink is empty whoever is walking by takes it out your way, the same with your dishes that you’re finished with if they pass by your table they pick it up and take it out off the table. I’m telling you the level of consideration is unmatched. We spoke with the manager and had wonderful conversation, she treated us like we actually mattered. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and had such a genuine attitude that it felt like we were friends. We will definitely be back."
