"Most of these hotels are located near exits and are very noisy, just as this one was. It was clean and odor free. Did not smell like animals. A lot of hotels now allow animals in all their rooms, we refuse to sleep in a room that has the smell of nasty pet smells. Just not good."
"Located off I-95 in North Savannah, I booked an accessible room for wheel chair access. Checkin was smooth and friendly. The room has a roll in shower, grab bars around the shower and toilet. The room lacked a chair or sofa, the king bed was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast lacked scrambled eggs and sausage like other sleep inns, they should offer more than white bread to toast like other sleep inns offer raisin bread and English muffins as well. No elevator with stairs inside across from the lobby. I recommend sleep inn for value, comfort and cleanliness. No roaches, no musty smell, good amenities!"
"If I could give this place a 000000 I would. The worst hotel we ever stayed at. Extremely dirty, rusty fixtures, awful dirty stained carpeting, shower scum so thick on door you could scrape it off with you fingernail, very little running water, few lights work, we left before checking bed. In their defense the whole first floor was closed off and being refurbished. The place needed to close down. The manager agreed as we asked for a refund. I'm closing my Choice Award Card since 1999 and will never support that hotel chain. Still waiting for our credit."
"Room was clean, but the rug around the air conditioner was soaked because it was leaking. The shower door leaked water on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was very average: good coffee, raisin bran cereal, yogurt, and frozen breakfast sandwiches which were soggy and tasted blah. We were exhausted from driving 13 hours; so, sleeping in a comfortable, king size bed and getting a shower in the morning served our basic needs, but nothing above and beyond. A good breakfast would've been a nice touch."
"We had a lovely one night stay last night. I had looked into the most affordable options in the area and this one stood out in the reviews. The front desk (Greg) and all employees throughout our whole stay were was very kind and accommodating - I had booked the wrong date by accident and he was able to switch me to that evening and also helped me change rooms. Tidy, clean, good shower pressure, sandalwood soap, AC, microwave, fridge and a pink flowered tree outside the window for $78! The only concern we had was a faint smell (not smoke - something like sweat) in the rooms, but it faded after we kept the door and window open for a little bit before bed. I'm sensitive to smells and honestly haven't stayed ina cheap hotel/motel that didn't have some slight smells. Hallway smelled delightful."
