"Was in the mood to have a sit down breakfast this morning, so I chose I Hop. A little disappointed on the wait time since it was only me waiting to be seated, and the restaurant wasn't that full, but once seated looks like they may have been short staffed. I ordered the chicken fajita omelet, with a side of hash browns. The omelet was cooked to perfection, also added the salsa, and the sour cream that added that extra kick to the omelet. My server was very friendly which was much appreciated."
"I haven't had IHOP in over a year, and I was really hungry and wanted some good breakfast so I decided to order some takeout and decided to try something new on the menu of course when I finally got my food I was really disappointed I ordered the blueberry pancakes which was hot good by the way (the little topping that comes with it was cold and nasty) , the breakfast potatoes was salty didn't come with ketchup, I even wanted to try the cinnamon dippers (they forgot my cream cheese) but what really topped it off was the cinnamon Dippers was hard as a brick and burnt if you knew they weren't edible why would you serve it? They even forgot my drink which didn't come with my combo had to pay extra the only think I enjoyed was my big steak omelette"
"Ihop on Assembly St downtown Columbia SC Disappointed me and multiple people coming for breakfast. The employees stayed behind the kitchen doors I waited to be seated 1 hour. The tables floors and counters were not clean. The management don't seem to be aware of the lack of kitchen help and apparently it came to my attention that people were not wanting to work. The end result if you are wanting a good breakfast affordable and relaxing try Lizard Thicket on Bull St. Owners of restaurants be sure to spend time and select the best people for your place"
"I thought I was supposed to get two French toast slices, but maybe not. The young man with the dreadlocs who took my order was very nice and quick even though it took me some time. They didn't press me for a tip, which surprised me, given American tipping culture. I appreciated that. I don't know if it's fair because it may be a City of Columbia problem, but I took a star from "atmosphere" because there was an awful sewage smell enveloping the exterior of the restaurant and the parking lot. They have menu items that I haven't seen before, like salmon and rice, new waffles, and they are advertising their new line of biscuits."
