"If you are allergic to cats, please don’t visit here. A cat knowingly resides on the ground floor. Our room was absolutely disgusting. The curtains were stained, mirrors broken, Smoke detector opened and uncovered. We opted to end our vacation soon to avoid spending another night there!"
"I occasionally have professional conferences bring me to Augusta, and each time, I look this place up because (a) I'm a little too slow in booking to get a conference block hotel and (b) I look at the options and gawk at their expense and/or distance from the conference center. After three visits to this Ramada location (each a few years apart), it is consistently a cost effective option that's clean, has good proximity to the bigger conference center in the area and restaurants alike, and parking is included. Ritzy it is not, but I don't need ritzy even if it's on the company dime (which is really taxpayer money anyway, I'm an educator and I want to be a good steward of our tax money). And by the way, if you want an underratedly delicious/speedy/cost-effective breakfast, the lobby restaurant is great for that, love it!"
"The staff seem to be doing their best, but the hotel doesn't leave much to work with. As others have stated, it's old and in desperate need of maintenance/upgrades. My room was clean, but didn't have a fridge (?) and the location is not ideal due to proximity of the train. I'm writing this review from my room at approx 12:30 am (I have work in the morning, onsite, that I've traveled for) and yet another train has come through blaring it's horn. Overall, I strongly do not recommend."
"I was in Augusta for work and needed a last minute hotel. I've read all the bad reviews, I agree this place needs to be updated. It's clearly an older hotel. I found the front desk cat to be charming. He was very sweet! The ladies that work the front desk are very nice and the room was clean. It was inexpensive and had everything I needed."
"I was surprised when the nice woman checking us in used a pen/paper for available rooms. At this point I honestly don't know that this woman worked there, no name tag and working off pen/paper. The room was horrible! The AC wasn't working so the room was a smelly sauna. The wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom ceiling tiles were stained and falling, the bathroom had a makeshift counter top, the carpet was sticky and stained, there was mold all over the room, the bed had bugs and stained sheets. There was a guy out front smoking crack who was then going in and out of the lobby. It was so bad we left and drove an hour to another hotel."
