"My family and I had a great time on the Mermaid Pirate Dolphin Tour. John took us out where we were able to see many dolphins and exotic birds in the river and intercoastal waterway. He even let the kids drive the boat which absolutely made their trip. Absolutely would recommend for all ages."

"It was not what I expected, but it was definitely an amazing experience. We arrived at the site and gave Captain a call. He told us to come down to the dock. We grabbed some digging gear (a shovel and rakes) and headed off. The first surprise was pleasant, as we didn't realize the tour was private. We headed out to Shark Tooth Island. The boat ride was nice. Once we arrived, we didn't realize that Captain would stay in the boat while we get out to find shark teeth. He dropped us off and coasted around the area. The area for shark tooth hunting is probably a couple hundred yards across the beach of the island. There is not much shade on the island, and the weather was HOT. We did not know how to find shark teeth, but you have to dig! Do not plan on having a pleasant beach day. I thought it'd be like finding seashells on the shore, but instead, you have to dig. My mom (60y/o) and I (26y/o) dug near the trees for 2 hours. We had quite a bit of luck. You have to have an eye for seeing the small ones. It was addicting to keep finding them, and if you are lucky enough to find a big one, it's so exciting. It keeps you going. Be ready to get dirty. We wore swimsuits and cover-ups. I wore shorts as well, and I think that helped for sitting in the sand. I really enjoyed it and Captain was very kind. I would do the excursion again when it's not as hot, and I'd highly recommend this company to others. I've posted photos of what we found...excuse the dirt."

"If I could give Captain John more than 5 stars, I would. We took our 2 kids, ages 4 and 8 today on a dolphin tour, and they had the time of their lives. Captain John is down to earth, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. We saw probably 100 dolphins, no exaggeration. At one point, our boat was just surrounded by a pod of dolphins. Even he seemed shocked by just how many we saw today. They were showing off and some came incredibly close to the boat. It was truly a highlight of our trip to Savannah! If we come back, another tour will be at the top of our list!"

"My sister is in town from Knoxville and I thought this sounded like so much fun. We both love the ocean and I’ve been wanting to go to shark tooth island for a while. Today did not disappoint!! We had the absolute best day! Capt John was great and Tara showed us exactly how to find the shark teeth! I had no idea it was a private tour either, just me and my sis having a blast. This is definitely the company to use to go to shark tooth island. They gave us rakes, baggies for our haul and a day we won’t soon forget!"
