William A Floyd Amphitheater
About the Business
The William A Floyd Amphitheater is a popular outdoor venue located at 3027 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard in Anderson, South Carolina. This institution has implemented a clear bag policy for the safety and convenience of its guests. Each ticketed guest is allowed to carry one large clear bag, either a Ziploc style bag or a 12”x6”x12” clear bag. Bags may be searched upon entry to ensure compliance with the policy.
Clear bags provide an additional layer of security and are easier and faster to search, in line with the Department of Homeland Security’s “See Something, Say Something” campaign. Approved clear bags include clear, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12”x6”x12”, as well as one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags. Medically necessary items are allowed with proper inspection, and diapers and baby supplies can be carried in a clear bag.
However, purses larger than a clutch bag, briefcases, backpacks, cinch bags, and fanny packs that are not clear and exceed size restrictions are not permitted. Each member of a family, including children, is allowed to carry an approved clear bag into the Civic Center or Amphitheater. Visit the William A Floyd Amphitheater for a memorable outdoor experience in Anderson, South Carolina.

"Had a great time here with the family. Music sounded good, parking could have been better but not terrible."
"Great place for concerts! Festivals and special events. The Anderson County state fair! Food trucks! Gun shows! Kids outlets! Different types of Events. Schedules are listed on their website.. Beautiful place and big enough for our special event and Festivals. We stand strong against gun violence & your safety comes first!"
"Great venue! Last night's pitbull concert sucked! Pitbull was so late we had to leave. Emt's were carrying people out they'd been on their feet for so long. We wasted $270.00 on tickets and parking. Best part of the show was the opening act, Filmore."
"Got to the gate at 4 pm for VIP gates to open at 5 pm to see Pitbull... they didn't open til 5:15! Stood in the heat with a minor with drunk teens!! Yes, teens with no blue bracket, vaping, and smelling pot! Will people around you drop like flies from the heat!! And $13 for 3 waters!! Shame on Anderson for tolerating this plus a concert to start at 6 pm, which now at 9:40 pm still has not started! This is ridiculous to have people this bunched up in this heat and expect them to stand!! This will be my last concert here."
"Family fun. Didn't appreciate others in front of me standing up n blocking my view. People are inconsiderate. That's why we brought chairs to sit and relax n watch a concert. It is what it is! I still had a good time. I did work my way down close enough to get a picture of Tina Mcbride and sang her songs. The food wasn't too great but wasn't too bad. Long lines, hot n muggy. A decent price for what you got. It was too expensive to go on balloon rides $25-$300, but it was for a good cause, Cancer!"
