Chris Taylor Memorial Park
About the Business
Chris Taylor Memorial Park is a popular tourist attraction located at Rice Circle in Anderson, South Carolina, United States. This park offers a peaceful and serene environment for visitors to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
In order to ensure the safety and security of all guests, the park has implemented a clear bag policy. Each ticketed guest is allowed to carry one large clear bag, either a Ziploc style bag or a 12”x6”x12” clear bag. Bags may be searched upon entry to the park.
Clear bags provide an added layer of security and make the search process quicker and more efficient. This policy also aligns with the Department of Homeland Security’s “See Something, Say Something” campaign.
Accepted clear bags include clear, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12”x6”x12”, as well as one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags. Exceptions are made for medically necessary items, which will be inspected upon entry.
Visitors are not permitted to bring purses larger than a clutch bag, briefcases, backpacks, cinch bags, or fanny packs that are not clear and exceed the size restriction. However, diapers and other baby supplies can be carried in a clear bag.

"I really like this park. Today I decided to get out of the house for a bit, and I found Chris Taylor Memorial Park on Maps. It was just over a mile away from my house, so I figured I'd stop by and check it out. To my surprise, it was so alive!!! There were a ton of ducks swimming around and honking; there were a lot of kids on the playground, filling the air with happy little shouts and laughter; there were couples old and young sitting and walking. I even saw a father-son duo fishing on the shore of the pond. I'll definitely come back very soon. I would love to see more flowers around the park."
