"The Lost Dog is a Folly staple that you must visit when in the area. We went because we had heard and read so much about it, and we weren’t disappointed. We had breakfast and my mom said the veggie quiche was the best she has ever had. I had french toast which was also amazing! We are fans of the Bill Noel novels, so we were disappointed the infamous “Amber” wasn’t there to wait on us, but we had great service nonetheless. Highly recommend! It stays crowded, so go early!"

"Busy beach restaurant with a lively environment. Seated quicker than expected given all the people waiting on Saturday morning. The waitress took our order quick enough and it was brought out fast too. It was very greasy but flavorful and well cooked. Very garlicy home fries."

"This quaint cafe serves breakfast all day! And wow, the food hit the spot! We didn’t have to wait for a table, the service was fast, and the waiter told us truthfully what he would recommend and we left full and satisfied. One of us had the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were fluffy and fresh. I had the French toast with strawberry and they were perfectly prepared. And then to boot, we bought a cool tshirt. We will return!"

"The Lost Dog Cafe was one of the best breakfast spots on Folly Beach. The food is great and the service was as well. It's tucked away on a quite little street right off the main drag. Parking is a little dicey, but our hotel was in walking distance so that wasn't an issue. The walls are decorated with portraits of dogs and this was probably one of my favorite characteristics of this experience (definitely a dog guy). I would love to get a picture of my poodle on the wall here, I'll make the trek from Charlotte again just for that. Great place!!!!!!"

"What a nice hole in the wall find! The coffee is strong and the food is very flavorful. Nice comfortable atmosphere inside and out. Use the bathroom before you go because they only have one and it is in the same location as the garb you can get. The burrito with add-ons is a great way to start the day with a biscuit and gravy accompaniment. The to go cinnamon roll was great as they put the icing on the side. The crab cake Benedict tasted fresh from the ocean. They are dog friendly!!!!!"
