"I have loved living here and its only gotten better now that Kayla is back! Her entire staff makes the experience wonderful and easy start to finish. If any problems do arise, maintenance is always quick and kind. Until I buy a house I cant imagine living anywhere else"
"This apartment complex refused to let me see the specific apartment I was leasing until AFTER I signed the lease. The apartment manager stated that it wasn’t in their policy to show tenants their unit before they sign the lease. This was a direct contradiction to the terms of the lease, as it states that the tenant is supposed to be able to view the specific unit they’re leasing prior to signing the lease to ensure that the unit is clean and move in ready. My apartment was not move in ready. I have been there for a full week and have not been able to stay there for a single day of that time. It’s caused me to be out of work for a week, it’s caused a tremendous amount of stress and suffering for me. The apartment smelled very strongly of intense cigarette smoke. I have severe allergies and within 15 minutes of being inside the apartment, my eyes became red, my nostrils started to burn, and I developed a nauseating migraine. I informed the leasing assistant on the day of move in, and I emailed the leasing manager. The leasing assistant told me to go to target and purchase a mop and “Fabuloso” and told me to “wash the walls”. So I opened all the windows, turned on my air purifier to “high” and left the apartment for 8 hours. In that time, I sat in my car and walked around stores as I had no where else to go. When I returned later that day to wash the walls and apply arm & hammer carpet powder to the carpet, and vacuum, the apartment still smelled extremely strongly of smoke. I was so close to vomiting. I began to inspect the apartment and took photos of the condition it was in. The carpets and vinyl flooring had been replaced, and the walls had been painted, but there was a visible nicotine tar ring around the perimeter of all the ceilings from the previous tenant smoking. There were live roaches, the kitchen drawers and bathroom drawers smelled strongly of smoke, the kitchen was dirty, there were stains on the walls, the blinds on the window were cracked. The bedroom window was sealed shut and couldn’t be opened. I was out of a place for that entire weekend as I was ultimately told that nothing can be done until Monday. I had to have my older brother drive down here from Philadelphia to help me get a hotel for the weekend. Monday comes around and my brother and I go to the leasing office first thing in the morning. I informed the leasing manager verbally of all that has been going on with the apartment. She came into the unit to look at everything and then later that day told me she personally couldn’t smell anything and that it’s a smokers community so they can’t guarantee that the units won’t smell of smoke. I asked if I could be moved to any of their one bedroom unit that doesn’t smell like that because it’s affecting my health. My friends and family couldn’t stay in there for longer than 20 minutes at a time because of how intense the smell was (and some of them are smokers themselves!). The leasing manager kept insisting they can “fix” the issues with the unit while simultaneously stating that all my concerns were just “minor cosmetic issues”. They put in an ozone machine in my apartment for 2 days—of which I also could not stay there during that time because it is unsafe for anyone to be living in a space while an ozone machine is running. I came in after that and the smell did not change at all. I could also tell that they had just spray painted over anything that looked dirty! Long story short, they violated the terms of the lease by not letting me view before signing and I have requested that they terminate the lease. They refused and offered me a $250 concession instead. That doesn’t come close to the money I’ve lost during the full 7 days I’ve spent homeless going from friends house to friends house. They only just now offered me the other unit but at this point I am forced to sue. None of their behavior is okay at all. FUTURE RESIDENTS BE AWARE!!! and if they offer you apartment 1212, RUN!"
"I came in to get some information about the property and Meredith was extremely informative, was able to get all my questions answered, extremely professional! I really enjoyed speaking with her and I’ll be back soon! This company is lucky to have a tenacious leasing consultant!"
"The homes are well kept, and the residents we've met are quite friendly. We enjoyed the pool, gym, and other amenities that the community offers. But, most important to me, the level of service from the staff is top notch. The ladies in the leasing office and the maintenance team are always so happy to help out, no matter what you may need. They are quick and efficient to help, and do it with a smile on their face. Should I ever be in the market again, I would gladly come back to this community again."
"For a last minute move in two years ago, they did not disappoint. We did all the move in online, email and calls with them from out of state. The apartment was exactly as described. Today unfortunately was our last day and will admit that it’s a place I’d move to if I were back in the area for work. Keep up the upgrades and continue to do the gatherings. Also great Maintenance team! New and old! They’ve always been hard workers."
