"I am working in NYC from out of town and needed a refill on my medication, went to several pharmacies and no one would refill. I then went to Poe Pharmacy and the staff went above and beyond!!!! Thank you to the kind staff for your help. Sarah Beach"
"I've been going to this pharmacy for the past 15 years and my family for longer. It seems there has been new staff for the past year or so, and after several trips over the past 6 months, I am convinced that the new staff, especially the new lady that seems to be of middle eastern descent, has absolutely no idea how to do their job correctly. They have lied to me every instance I have called ahead of time to ask about my prescriptions by telling me that it is ready for pick up. Instead, after arrival, I was made to wait or come back after 1-4 hours or more, because it wasn't ready (my prescription just comes in a factory sealed box), or it was unavailable at their store. In another instance, instead of answering a question and clearly relaying information, they gave many roundabout answers when instead they simply meant, "We're out of stock." Their service toward customers also needs work, as they are quick to take up a rude attitude. Making the, "talk to the hand" gesture when someone is asking a question, or just blatantly ignoring them are two examples. Although it wasn't perfect, the previous staff were terrific at their job. Perhaps the new staff lack training, they are unsuited for customer service or are simply, inherently inefficient in carrying out tasks. Either ways, I will be moving to a different pharmacy henceforth."
"I went to pick up vitamins for my toddler and a pregnancy test for my wife. A heavy set dark complexion hispanic women, was extremely rude. First she told me they didnt carry name brands which I already knew. I explained to her that aome are more bitter than others and that I was looking for a specific generic one. I was shown one and shown something completely different than what I was looking for. I told her I would leave it up to my wife. Then I asked her for the most commonly purchased pregnancy test they carried. She told me all were generic but that they were good as well as the name brands. She was extremely rude and of no help. Will not be going back. Worst experience ever!"
