Walgreens 5564 Broadway, The Bronx, NY 10463

"I have been trying to contact someone in the pharmacy for weeks!!! Every time I call the recording says I have 1 caller ahead of me, then changes up to say staff is answering other call... mind you I have been holding on for 2 hours as of right now. This place is a joke. Its now 6pm and finally the phone starts ringing for the pharmacy to pick up and its closed!!! smdh... Corporate I suggest you do something with this location which includes a major overhaul of staff or close this location.... With all of the bad reviews here from customers I don't know how this store is still open!!!"

"I tried calling the pharmacy for the past three days. They had me on hold for hours at a time. Every time that the voice prompt said I was the next one on line, someone at the pharmacy section picks up the phone and hangs up. This is frustrating when you are trying to transfer your medications to a different pharmacy to get your meds. There are a lot of customer complaints for this store. I hope that this is the next Walgreens’s that closes. The only way to wright a negative review is if you rate this review a one star. Unbelievable!"

"the pharmacy does not answer the phone. they will leave you on hold for 40 minutes to an hour just to hang up when you’re finally the next caller. this has happened to me twice so I know they were doing it on purpose"

"I guess the store runs on its own for the night shift. 4 customers outside at 4am to purchase medicine and they simply just waved there hands to signal being closed at this 24 hour location. The Black security lady sat there on her phone the entire time, the employees came in and out and when asked a question replied oh I don't know ask the guard who just waved her hands to signal being closed. How does a trusted pharmacy chain operate like this? I guess it's ok because it's a Black neighborhood and judging from the reviews, no one ever does anything about these complaints."

"This location is super busy the line is always towards the back of the store. They usual only have one cashier your lucky if there are too. The location has security due to the major thefts they occur. It’s a busy location but definitely needs more staff with the amount of customers that shop at this location. You overwhelm your staff and put people that don’t know what they doing in photo. While orders are completely getting messed up."
