Land Air Express

"Horrible service. A delivery date and time was arranged, and no one showed. Someone called my cell, let it ring once, and then hung up with no message. I scheduled another delivery. Same thing, I waited for the time, no one showed. Someone called my phone, let it ring once, then hung up. I called back this time. It was the driver, who then proceeded to lie repeatedly about why he hadn't left a message ("I don't call numbers from other states because I don't want to pay long distance charges on my cell phone." ?!?!?) Then lied and said he didn't schedule the time for delivery because it was through another shipper (I had spoken directly with Land Air both times to schedule delivery). When I called him on it he said, "I don't have to deal with this. You're at the end of my route and not a regular customer," and then drove off, refusing to deliver the package. I've never seen such amateur and juvenile behavior in my life."

"Receptionist is ridiculously rude. Trying to spend thousands of dollars with this company a week and she can't even nicely put me through to someone who can handle it ?! You'll be out of business soon, no doubt."

"Terrible service. Delivery not done on the day I paid someone to accept it. The driver lied twice: first that he arrived at office and no one was there, and second that the load was in the front of his trailer and he couldn't access it. He obviously wanted to go home. The dispatcher then lied to me that I'd get a phone call as when it would be delivered the next day. Wouldn't use them for anything in the future."
