"Patrick saved the day in helping us secure our 2 bedroom! After making an appointment to look at other 2 bedrooms, we were able to see a unit that was newly available and a more preferable layout before it was on the market. The entire process was efficient and smooth and so far the building has been great!"
"The Cole is a great choice if you are looking for a big enough building to have the facilities and amenities, but also small enough to feel exclusive and not overcrowded. The rent might not be the cheapest but you get a well-maintained building with great staff, 24/7 reception, a gym with views of the East River, a meeting/ lounge/ billiard room, a backyard, and an open rooftop to enjoy the beauty of NYC. If you're looking for a quiet friendly personal living experience in the Upper East Side The Cole is a great choice."
"There’s a community outreach program right under the building which is great for the community but not so great for the residents at the Cole - few days out of the week there are long lines of people waiting for free groceries which wraps around the building. New management has made upgrades to the building including repainting the interior and planned upgrades to the gym. Overall staff is remarkable and the management office is available for urgent matters."
"Absolutely the worst property management I have ever encountered. Just to give you an idea of how much they care about their residents - management refused to extend our lease by 4 days to match with our closing date. This left us having to store our furniture and belongings in a storage unit for a week, and of course scrambling to find a place to live for our family of 5 (2 kids and a dog). Now they say they can’t return our security deposit via ACH when it was an option when we signed our forms to leave. If I had known, I wouldn’t have provided sensitive bank information. ZERO STARS."
"The apartments are very small and over priced. Only three closets in the three bedroom apartment. The small bedroom doesn’t even have a closet. Terrible lighting throughout. Very loud with the windows/balcony door open from the vents across the street. No screens on balcony door. Mosquitoes were an issue. Mold buildup in the bathrooms after a few months living there. Building refuses to replace A/C-Heaters. They break and they get them serviced or replace from a different apartment. Old appliances and need to be updated. Building staff are wonderful unfortunately they have high turnover. Building management can’t be found and don’t respond to emails."
