"Very dangerous area surrounded by loud bars. Building is outdated and sound is an issue. The staff is great, amenities nonexistent (no outdoor space) and the rent is way too high for what you get."
"- Clean lobby (cold during summer, warm during winter) - Doorman who opens doors (front & apartment) - Pool table, gym with water station, 2nd floor shared space"
"We lived there for 2 years, and even though the apt was really nice and spacious, the neighborhood is quite unsafe. My main complain is the lack of staff during the weekends (we always had issues when we requested our bikes or suitcases), the issue with the gym access (you need to have a special key but they give to you after a trainer evaluation, they gave me the wrong phone number and then when I got the right one the trainer was never available), and the main issue we had was with the principal doorman. We went on vacation and some friends came from another country to take care of my cat, we left one night before they arrive so couldn’t give them the keys in hand, and when I left the keys a couple of times before for the cat sitter in a envelop, they said that is better to leave a document with the explicit directions and they would open the door instead of carrying the keys. However, this doorman person denied to open the door, even though I talked to him on the phone, and had a really bad attitude when it was an emergency, I had the worst vacation time because I was really worried about the health of my cat. They should have explicit rules and guidelines for this types of situation, specially because they’re there “to help”, not create more problems against tenants directions."
"Brand new building with great facilities (gym, recreational area/lounge, etc.); modern kitchen, premium home appliances, great closet space. Staff is super helpful and extremely nice. Only big problem is the noise: If you are facing 39th street, starting early in the morning you might hear the hotel construction going on next door (which will last ~2 yrs), and during the evening/night you might hear the trucks collecting trash or making delivery to the many hotels on 39th street. 39th street is also very close to the Lincoln Tunnel access and the Port Authority Bus Terminal - so there could also be a pretty loud ground noise...but I guess that's mid-town."
"It is a very nice place. The apartment is very clean and shiny. In my opinion it is better than many of the hotels that are near by. The security guards are also very nice."
