"While claiming to be a luxury building they are anything but. The only positives are a nice lobby, the doormen and the apartment layouts. We have lived in the building for 12 years now and the services are declining year after year, especially since Equity Residential took over: Cheaper and cheaper appliances, worse and worse services (we had to wait two weeks to get the dishwasher fixed), ugly cheap non-matching yellow replacement tables that look liked they came from a yard sale, non-working barbecues and no-working lights. These non-working rooftop lights are a mystery. During the winter they are on all the time. However, during the summer they are switched off when it gets dark. The whole thing feels like Equity does anything they can to prevent you from enjoying the rooftop while being able advertise that they have one to lure you in."

"The concierge staff are very friendly while juggling many different responsibilities in an efficient way including the distribution of packages and any number of other requests. The service and maintenance staff are very skilled and professional and always responsive. This is a well-run building because of the efforts of all of these folks. A bonus is being a block from the magnificent Central Park!"

"I constantly smell cigarette smoke, my neighbors blast loud music. All this has gone unaddressed by management. I received a renewal offer for close to $5,000 for a one bedroom apartment which I thought was incredibly steep. I submitted notice to leave because I thought that was way too high. This morning I looked at what my unit was listed for and it's $400/month less. Which of course leads me to believe that if you complain like I did your rent will be raised. Completely unfair and disgusting. Avoid this building."
