Violet Estates Active Adult 55+ Luxury Apartments 9 Ultra Way, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601

"Moved in Violet Estates Summer of 2023 into a brand new apartment where nobody has lived in prior and have had nothing but issues one after the other. It has been very difficult getting these issues fixed and I'm not the only person in this development with the same issues. The windows did not open all the way and were not cut properly, which is a fire hazard. The fire alarms kept going off in the buildings during the Summer because of the heat sensors in the roof. I had to beg for a shower bar which should be standard 55+ and up community. Others in wheelchairs had to get a letter explaining why they needed a shower bar because the owners don't want to spend money and always hire the lowest bidder to get things fixed by contractors. Had to have the refrigerator replaced because of the freezer was collecting an abundance of ice on the top. AC units leak because they were not tilted correctly, they have to break the wall, tilt, plaster, and paint to fix. Closest racks have come down with little weight because the walls are soft. This is a money grab for the developers including the Louis Reynolds you see here in these Google reviews. 5 stars my butt. They build these places quickly, while they look aesthetically pleasing, they used the cheapest materials. The walls nick easily. You can hear the neighbor upstairs walking around like bigfoot. Two bocci courts which are a waste of space that is not used. Two spaces for a garden which have never been used. Don't move here. It's not worth the money. 360 management who manages the property are not good, not responsive, a revolving door with managers who are not on the property full time. You have to send multiple e-mails and threaten to get things done for them to do so. You pay for everything, water, trash, rental insurance, pet fee, stoves are electric and Central Hudson charges huge bills each month for electricity (over $300 for me this month) when I am very mindful of electric usage. There isn't assigned parking and with the store fronts opening up, it will be a disaster. Save yourself from the aggravation. Track record from the owners from other properties is that they are only an investment until they sell. They don't care about the people who live here. Especially for a 55 and up community. If they did, they would have built these apartments correctly the first time and had them properly inspected. But again, they just wanted these apartments rented because of greed. I'm moving when the lease is up."

It's appears that everyone worked together to make this a great experience. The property is beautiful. There's beautiful flower beds through out the property. I was able to get an apartment that day. Any issues I had with the application; Treza took care of it promptly, professionally and kindly."
