"Everything went as planned, pick up and drop off. Very pleased. When I checked my credit card, they added $24. for fuel charge. After contacting, verified it was returned full. Just another time waster event. Check your bank statements."
"We were in Albany from Florida for a family funeral for 6 days. Rented a Jeep Cherokee at the airport from Budget, prepaid online, before we returned the vehicle to the airport, filled it 2 miles away at the nearest gas station from the airport. I filled the tank to the rim the fuel was spilling out. The final invoice had a charge of $23.00 for fuel. We called Budget and they put us through the ringer to send evidence of the receipt and picture of the fuel gauge although the clerk looked at the fuel gauge and I have showed him the receipt for the gas purchase. They didn't give us credit for the prepayment and ripped us off for $23.00. The final e-invoice stated that vehicle went out with full tank and was returned with full tank. Watch out when you rent here, take pictures of everything including the fuel gauge!"
"Rented this car from Albany airport. The car was really dirty. Not even washed. The interior carpets were bad. Otherwise , it was fine"
"They didn't have the car that I requested. The car they gave me had a broken visor and low air in it't tires. They wanted to charge me significantly more to return the car 2.5hrs later but when I returned it almost 24hrs earlier they would not offer a credit of any kind. I'll pass next time."
"Check in was easy and rental car was clean enough. Main concern was that at no point did anyone do a walk around with me to document dings and scratches already on the car. Nor was I given a form to fill out to state those items. Ended up taking pictures and sending them to myself via email to time stamp and protect myself. Car return was straightforward, though again, no one did a walk around with me. The car itself was ok. Was a Ford and could tell the interior was a little old. Given the cost had expected the car to be newer. May go with Budget again in the future but the experience was not good enough to preclude shopping other rental agencies as well."
