"Moved in with 2 small children complaints were made about my children being loud but never were brought to my attention by anyone . I was given a month to move out property manager said my neighbors complained who happen to yell through walls have a super vicious dog and threatened to get everyone vehicles taken away because of parking INSANE this place literally is ghetto so idk why they all tenants to have such privileges it’s a low income apartment complex with high expectations ."
"Ok here's the thing, if you are looking to live in an exclusive excluded complex then you should probably seek residence in a upscale gated community. I have lived in northshore townhomes around 5 years have never had any problem with noise or rude neighbors, very seldom you would hear the booming car systems but not often. Samantha the grounds Secretary she is awesome and does her job. So over all northshore is a nice place to live especially the decent rent. you lucky Holley is no longer working in the office. life is what you make it."
"Expectations of building met for price point. MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE. BEWARE!!!! The townhomes themselves are not bad for the price. Lots of space. Cheap paint on the walls and the flooring is not great either but that is to be expected for the price point. I do not have high expectations for a townhome for less the $1,000 per month. Before the latest price increase to rent, which went up to over $1,100 per month. I would like to point out that I was an amazing tenant. Only called to fix my refrigerator, when it started to leek water. Maintenance guy is extremally nice and pleasant. I was rarely home and when I was, I kept to myself. I never once parked in non-parking spots. I was friendly and polite to my neighbors but mostly kept to myself. No kids, pets, or parties, just the occasional date came over for the night. Payed rent on time every month for 3 years, even through COVID. The original property manager was great. Some other tenants did not like her because she was direct but that's what i liked. No b.s. She unfortunately left to pursue other opportunities and the lady who replaced her, although is nice to talk to, she is useless. She will say what you want to hear and not actually do her job. She will only sit in her office and talk through her window. She will not contact you through any form other then leaving notes in your door. She will not call, email or text. She is all b.s. Next you have the actual property owners, who in them selves are really something special. Only care about your money. I know, that's to be expected but I would argue that listening to their renters would be more beneficial in the long run then just collecting as much as they can from you until you leave. I had tried to convey my concerns when I was being charged fees for my renters insurance that i simply thought would be automatically renewed and good to go. the problem was that I did not realize that although I kept the same insurance, I needed to have the insurance company summit new paper work each year. Did not realize and was not told there was an issue, although I did reach out to the property manager before the due date. She did not say anything until after I was charged with a fee for $25. When I asked if she could help wave the fee because of the misunderstanding and given that I have been a great renter, she only would give me a number for someone to call at corporate. When I called corporate to explain what happened, they refused to help in any way. The only thing they offered was that I would not be charged any late fees for rent in the next few months. Why you might ask, because it was during COVID and legally they could not charge anyone late fees. Forgive my long review, but I wanted to show that I have reasonable expectations of both companies and people. I am dealing with more fees for lack of insurance because I moved out and didnt think i needed to pay for it if i was not living there. So for 1 month and 3 days i did not have renters insurance and the company is charging me $50. I asked the property manager to try and get that taken off my bill to no avail. If you are in the market for a Townhome on a budget, and don't mind being screwed by management, this is the place for you. I would caution that you know your rights as a tenant to protect yourself. Realize that certain renters get away with what ever they want and it does not matter how good of a tenant you are, they don't care. Thanks for reading!"
"Lived here for 2 years and had not one so single problem. When we moved in they put a new tub in for us with no issues. Samantha is always probably the best property manager I've had. Very responsive, respectful and understanding. When we left the unit and did our move out inspection, it was a breeze. We did our part as tenants and kept the place clean to the best of our abilities and apon leaving received almost our entire security deposit back which is almost unheard of in the rental community. There was no small nick picking or any of that. Great work Glendale and team at Northshore!"
"Made us live with a painted bathtub and filthy paint chips from the tub for the first 2 and 1/2 years so I called health department then they fix it and refuse to renew lease despite paying increases in rent. Neighbors are rude, inconsiderate and obviously run the place. Tenants park in no parking zones and only the favorite ones don’t get towed. They want extra fees if they get an outdated notice for your insurance just because they received the notice. They took out the pool. You have to wait and wait and wait for repairs. I appreciate having a place to live but the management here just wants money for delivering bad deeds. I can imagine what the move out walk thru gonna be like. There’s landlords and then there’s just “ because I can” landlords. I made request about loud music at 2 am and I have a disability. The neighbor wants to know if I have a problem cuz I told the landlord. There are bullies here and they could care less if you have a disability. You have to fight with doctors notes about getting a disabled parking space. They deal with each individual tenant based on what they know or don’t know obviously to save money. And yes it was me that advised the landlord to fix the walkway leading to dozens of apartments here. I told them disabled people have to walk through mud and puddles of water in a walkway. Someone could fall. What do I get? We will not be renewing your lease. So now the next tenant has no idea what they are in for because it’s all “ covered up.” Suprise! I took away the cover! Hope you are favorited and not discriminated against because you want what you pay for. Good luck!"
