"No matter what they tell you, what you do or how clean you are, you will be screwed out of your security deposit. Remember this warning because it will happen to you. I have pics also, your company is corrupt, your apts are nasty and dirty and you take advantage of the unfortunate during a pandemic no less. Your lies don't sway my answer. It was a sublease and not cleaned to begin with and we were told by Tammy more than once we were very clean tenants. Lies, lies and more lies. I just hope the judge puts an end to your reign and guess who won in court! Haha! We won and the slumlords still didn't pay us! What's that tell you? The apts are also bug infested. Gross and disgusting place!"

"I have lived here at lake glen apartments for going on five years now. I'll be the first one to say I have not always been the greatest tenant. I am late with my rent payments at times and Craig the landlord has worked with me each time. They are truly a family oriented establishment. They truly are understanding and patient people. My apartment was immaculate when I moved in. I have had a couple of personal issues come up this past year and both times I've come to Craig and he has been more than accommodating. Tammy is amazing. She is hardworking and is always going above and beyond for the apartment complex. I would recommend lake glen apartments to anyone!"

"I would not recommend this place to anybody. Not only do they discriminate against tenants (based on hearsay in the community) they run you through the cleaners for every penny on the security deposit. If you ask questions to the manager (Tammy) and ask too many she just pushes you off to the building owner (who's her brother). It's a family affair that doesn't care about you and about getting the money out of you. There are other places in Livonia I would look first rather than ever renting from there again. **Update- While you did charge me to paint the walls you never painted them at the beginning of my tendency. Therefore you charged me for work that hadn't been done. And while I was there I made it clear to both Tammy and Andrew that I would paint them when it came time. When asking about the procedure you (Craig) didn't even know what I was referring to at first. I had asked a retired teacher from Livonia to sublet and he was denied because of hearsay. No record of any sort or legal issues yet was denied. Never even ran a background check. I then asked a couple with a kid and was denied because "kids aren't allowed in that building." While you may be making a great community you're also not allowing the people around the town to rent because of 1 reason or another."

"Lived here for two years with my stepkids and partner with no problem until a miserable 80 something year old tenant moved upstairs and complained about noise and continuously complained to the owner (which he took her side immediately). If you are planning to move in this place, and you have children that are mentally unstable like one of mine, reconsider choosing this outdated joint, you might get evicted on the holidays like we were."
