"I've been dealing with the management for 2 months now on behalf of my mother in law who moved out of here. They are illegally holding her security deposit for unpaid cable bill. Not only it's illegal to do so in NY, but when call the cable company, her balance have been 0 for a year now because she cancelled and paid her bills a year ago. St Mary's cannot seem to get that on their records and claim to be unable to reach the cable company for 2 months when it took me 15 minutes to do so. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Today I had an instacart order delivering to one of the residents at St Mary’s. When asking a question pertaining to the order to the worker in the main office I was given an attitude. I found it very unsettling and unprofessional coming from someone who should be friendly and welcoming to guests or even someone dropping off groceries to a resident."

My apartment is spacious, with plenty of windows to let the light shine in and and keep the cold outside!to make this a home away from home you need a manager who is kind, friendly and concerned about all who live here. "After the passing of my father in 2009, my sister and I wanted to find a nice place for our Mother to live. Some place where she would meet nice people and have the option to join groups and activities. St. Mary's Senior Apartments is the place! The apartments are a nice size, and the grounds are simply beautiful. There's a wonderful atmosphere within the building - it's the great people. Pat, the manager, is a god-send! Any time my Mom has any questions or requests, Pat tends to them immediately. St. Mary's Apartments is the best place for my Mom. She loves living there!"

"AFFORDABLE Senior Housing with a very capital A+!! Goodness, where to begin - St. Mary's is nestled in the middle of Amherst State Park with glorious landscaping and manicured lawns. It's income based, and very affordable for those who have low income. One must be 55+ and there is an apartment to fit everyone's lifestyle - Studio, one or two bedrooms - lovely views and some even have balconies - perfect for small parties and just enjoying the weather. I have been a resident since April 2016, and it's the best move I have ever made since the passing of my husband three years ago. Residents are friendly, there are many activities in the spacious Community Room which is available to even host private parties [with full kitchen and cupboards complete with dishes, silverware and glassware for use]. Conveniently located two elevators on each floor for those who wish to not climb up four flights, but then the stairways are wide, and have these beautiful banisters of solid wood. The Staff? I can't say enough about the friendly atmosphere here with the Manager Pat, who greets all with a smile, and doesn't even mind if folks interrupt her daily routine to visit. The fix it duo, Mike and James are around to make certain we are all happy, and will fix just about anything. Mike is on site all the time, so that is very convenient. Service with a SMILE from them all. So if you are looking for affordable, friendly, helpful and "secure" housing - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOOK ANY FURTHER! St Mary's is the place to hang your hat and rest your weary bones. C"
