"Do not go here for eyebrow threading. Once again, this salon has no idea what they’re doing with Threading. The woman chopped off my eyebrow after I said three times don’t touch the shape, just clean it. To top it off, the manager was extremely rude to me because she was annoyed that I wasn’t happy. she was extremely dismissive and just generally had a ridiculous disposition. Never again."

"I have been going to this salon for years and the ladies do a great job. especially Laura I went today and there is new management. New, fresh interior and great service. They also have non-toxic gel options and were very happy with my gel manicure. I definitely recommend it."

"I have been going here for years and love the place, and I like to try new nail technicians, but what a mistake, today I had Laura do my nails and she cut me twice, also made my water to my pedicure cold and the water to my hands super hot I burned myself. Laura had no patience and super rude!!! I didn’t say anything at the time of my service because I was so annoyed and did not want to cause a sene but I will never have Laura do my nails again and to be honest she shouldn’t even be working there, I understand people make mistakes but I felt she did things on purpose!!!!! I will return and see my other nail technician I used previously but Laura never again - I hope new management takes this review into consideration. I have lived in Astoria for 13 years and have gone to Athen Nails for the last 13 years so I truly love the service just not today!!!"

"I have been going to Athena's Nails for 20+ years. They are the best nail salon in the city. Excellent Service! Each nail technician takes her time doing your nails. The salon is super clean, and the quality of the products they use is first rate. The energy is warm, friendly, relaxing and caring. I highly recommend this nail salon."
