The Ledges

"I live here now and I've never been happier. Very quiet. UPDATE: Got new neighbors around who unfortunately don't have common courtesy for their neighbors and come in blaring the stereo until they shut off their cars or leave, feel the bass shake the apartment, but unfortunately will get that everywhere. Also, neighbors who don't follow simple rules, like pick dog poop up or chain out the dog and let it bark consistently even after being told not to. All in all, still better than most, and don't plan on moving anytime soon because love everything else about it, and neighbors come and go."

"The current management and supporting team at the Ledges is attentive to your concerns, and genuinely looks out for your well being. I lived at the Ledges for two years and met good people in Management and tenets. Rent/ laundry pricing is reasonable and the community respectfully keeps late hour disturbances to a minimum. Great place to live and great being 1 minute outside main gate to Fort Drum."

"These apartments have no ac. Gets upwards of 78-83 degrees in the apartment. Called to ask what I could do. They said “They are 30 years old and have no central air, you can go buy a window ac unit”. The apartment is very out dated, had holes in different areas and in the storage Closet had a spot where an outlet was cut out of the drywall and wires were left hanging. No lights in the bedroom or living room. Sink is old and the water will often times come out brown. Has no microwave or dish washer. The oven isn’t bad but from it being so old the rubber liner melted the first time we used it, I replaced it and it’s been alright ever since. In the winter the apartment stays warm but if you set the thermostat to 70 it will often times reset itself to 75-77 degrees. So I often just had it turned off and even then you can still hear the apartment heating itself. You literally have no control over the temperature of your apartment. The bugs crawl under the door at the bottom of our steps. I got door liner to keep this from happening. There is a lot of things you need to make these appointments comfortable. On the bright side the new manager is very nice and they are very quick to get you into the apartment. I just recommend when doing a walk through take pictures of everything, Any damage you see before you move in. That way when moving out you have on record the damages already done before you. Or they will charge you for it. It saved us by taking pictures. They are very eager to fix the little things on these apartments but will try and get you charged for it. Overall the only reason I give these apartments to be star is because the leasing office was nice. Had they been rude I wouldn’t even give them a star."

"My husband & I lived here for almost 3 years but sadly had to move due to ETSing. The whole time we were here they’ve been nothing but accommodating. The leasing manager, Sandra, is the most kind hearted, helpful person I’ve ever encountered running a business. The maintenance manager, Jeff, helped us with any of our concerns in such a prompt manner. They’ve been so pleasant & turned more into friends than the people who run this apartment complex. 10/10"
