"Orenda Spring is located in the woods just to the right of the SPAC ticket entrance. Pull into the SPAC parking lot on RT 50 and head to the treeline. There is an unmarked footpath leading back fifty feet or so to the spring, which is just a stone hut with a wooden roof and a spout where the mineral water gushes out into a drain. The drain, through a pipe, empties into the ravine above Geyser Creek. If you go to the fence and peek over, you can see the Orenda tufa deposits on the edge of the creek. Orenda Spring water is powerful stuff and many are turned away by the equally powerful smell. Fortunately, the flavor of the water is not the same as the smell. The water is cold, high in minerals, and very carbonated. Besides Hathorn #3, this spring water is about as strong as they come so, if you can handle Orenda, you can handle any mineral spring water Saratoga has to offer! Beware if you're watching your salt intake as this spring is also high in chlorides. If you enjoy the stronger mineral springs, then you will love Orenda!"
